In Good Hands
Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel.
Jeremiah 18:6One day the master artist Michelangelo was working on a huge rock with his hammer and chisel, in the beginning stages of sculpting it into a piece of art. He knew it was going to be a long, drawn-out process. Somebody came along and asked: “Why are you wasting your time on that ugly rock?” Michelangelo says: “I see a beautiful angel trapped in this rock, and I’m doing my best to let him out.” And that’s exactly the way God sees us. You may feel that you are nothing more than a useless lump of rock. But when God looks at you, He sees a valuable son or daughter whom He created in His own image. He’s chipping away, knocking off the rough, unsightly edges, moulding you, shaping you, until He gets the angel out of the rock. Joel Osteen - Your Best Life Begins Every Morning
